About Us

Everyone involved in Wimbledon Shorts is passionate about film. We want to encourage people to find out how energising and satisfying creating your own film can be. Whether your vision of a film is funny, serious, artistic, real, fantastic, we want to motivate you to change an idea into images and have a shot at getting your film screened.

Wimbledon Shorts is a part of the Wimbledon Film Club. The WFC is an independent non-political not-for-profit organisation, which is a registered charity run by volunteers. The WFC is also an award-winning member of the British Federation of Film Societies.

Both the Wimbledon Shorts Film Festival and Competition organisers and judges are involved on a voluntary basis.
